Hospice does not mean giving up. Patients, families and a hospice work together to develop plans that consider health, spiritual wellbeing and family. Hospice care extends beyond the resident to their family, friends and community. The intention of a hospice program is to offer comfort and care, focus on quality of life, and offer support.
